Join us on Thursday , September 14. for a transformative Latihan experience - a dance of the Mystery. 

Latihan, a blindfolded movement journey, encourages you to:

✨ Embrace the mystery that is life

✨ Release attachment, aversion, + agenda

✨ Let go of DOING in exchange for BEING

✨ S l o w d o w n + practice presence

✨ Explore touch + learn to attune to others without the use of sight

✨ Find, recognize + communicate your boundaries

✨ Express your emotions

✨ Feel playful, sensual, embodied + free

✨ Use ALL experiences (including triggers + uncomfortable moments) as material for expansion + self empowerment

Latihan is the practice of following your inner guidance and cultivating the space to tune in and be your authentic self, expressed in conscious movement in connection with self and others.

While contact is not the point of Latihan, this experience can and does involve touch while blindfolded. Part of the exploration of Latihan is finding your YES and your NO, and taking full responsibility for communicating your boundaries at all times.

6:00 - 6:15 ~ Doors open for mingling and grounding movement exercises.

6:15 ~ Doors close.

6:15 - 7:15 ~ Boundaries workshop

7:15 - 7:30 ~ introduction to Latihan.

7:30 ~ Latihan begins.

8:45 ~ Sharing circle and conclusion.

9:00 ~ Farewell for the night.

What to bring:

•Clothes you can move in (like what you would wear to a yoga or dance class)

•A hair tie if you have long hair

•A water bottle

•Blindfolds will be provided but you’re welcome to bring your own if you prefer

Up to 7 days before the event you’ll get a full refund. No refund later than 7 days up to the event.
